When someone dies and their estate has to be administered, it is called probate.

Often, members of the deceased's family will not be able to deal with bank accounts and other investments until a
Grant of Representation is obtained.

Administering an estate involves realising the assets, paying any liabilities and finally distributing the estate.  Important time limits apply.

If the deceased has not made a Will, the legal provisions can be complicated, we can take the burden from you at what is often a very difficult time.
